Bizee, formerly Incfile, folds the agent role into its formation packages at no charge, for a stretch that runs from three months up to a full year depending on which tier you buy. That is not a gimmick. If you are organizing an Illinois LLC anyway, a check to the state is already written: 805 ILCS 180/5-5 requires articles of organization, Form LLC-5.5 prints a $150 fee, and a series LLC on Form LLC-5.5(S) runs $400. A bundle that strikes the agent line off that same order is a genuine saving on a bill you were paying regardless.

What Happens When the Bundle Expires

Then read the second half of the offer. Once the included stretch ends, standalone service bills at $149 a year, and the move from free to $149 happens on its own. Nothing about the work changes at that boundary. The same address receives the same documents under the same statutory duty. Only the invoice is different.

The practical risk is not the price. It is the date. A three-month bundle expires within a quarter, a twelve-month bundle expires next year, and the vendor has no commercial reason to make that expiry loud. Note the end date somewhere you will actually see it, because that is the day you should be deciding rather than the day you should be discovering.

Fifty dollars a year, two hundred across four. Not dramatic on its own, which is why the timing point above deserves more of your attention than the arithmetic does.

Two dates now sit on your calendar, and only one of them belongs to the state. The first is your Illinois anniversary month, when Form LLC-50.1 and $75 fall due before the first of that month, with the window opening 60 days early. The second is the day your bundled months run out and $149 a year begins.
